Claire Watson / Wednesday, April 4, 2018 / Categories: Uncategorized, Ferris Hills Events, Clark Meadows Events, Senior Living Community Events, Ferris Hills Blog Fiddlers of the Genesee Fiddlers of the Genesee brought the tradition of "old-time fiddling" to Ferris Hills last Saturday. The club was founded in September 1991, after being inspired by the Genesee Country Village & Museum’s "Fiddlers’ Fair." Residents and guests were greatly entertained by 20 musicians playing stringed instruments including a primarily fiddle, viola, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dobro, hammered dulcimer and bass. There were instruments that some had never seen before, but hope to see again very soon.Fiddlers of the Genesee had everyone clapping hands and tapping feet. The energy in the room was amazing!
