Claire Watson / Monday, May 6, 2019 / Categories: Uncategorized, Ferris Hills Events, Clark Meadows Events, Senior Living Community Events, Ferris Hills Blog Rayburn Hall is Open! The beautiful Rayburn Hall is now open! Eric Holmquist, architect from SWBR designed the perfect space and the built in bar is already a big hit! Cathy Dobrowal picked out carpet, wall paper & paint colors to give a light and airy feel. Willie Norton, project manager from Pike, was wonderful to work with. Every day he patiently answered questions, listened to concerns and found a way to make it all work. 20 years ago, the Rayburns and the Sands came together and worked at getting their vision built for a Senior Community for Canandaigua. Living here for many years, Bill Rayburn recognized the need to continue to invest in his community as he wanted to be sure that Ferris Hills stayed vibrant for his friends, family and others who wanted to stay in the Finger Lakes for years to come. Bill & Peg Rayburn left Senior Communities $1,000,000 to achieve the goal of a place where we can all come together to enjoy music, lectures and most of all, each other’s friendships.
