It was a full house and residents enjoyed hearing about the North East of England's weather, food, history and local landmarks. The Priory Castle, Collingwood's Monument, North Shields Fish Quay and the Long Sands were explored with a quick tour around the local pub. The beautiful town of Tynemouth rests on the North Sea coastline and is filled with stores, coffee-shops and restaurants with dramatic views. Its history dates back to an Iron Age settlement and is steeped in history making it a hit with tourists. Enjoy the photos below by Claire's husband, Michael Francis. Previous Article Jazz it up!
