Claire Watson / Monday, February 19, 2018 / Categories: Uncategorized, Ferris Hills Events, Clark Meadows Events, Senior Living Community Events, Ferris Hills Blog Winter Olympics Our opening ceremony for the winter Olympics was a huge success and certainly a team effort. We were honored to welcome Senator Pam Helming and coach Pamela Warren who both gave informative presentations regarding the local Olympians competing this year. Our very own Al Johnson wowed the audience with facts and photos of the host country, South Korea, and brought everyone up to speed with the sporting events. Katherine Duffy blessed the Olympians with a personalized prayer and CEO Michael Stapleton shared a few words on what the Olympics mean to him. Our taste buds were taken on a world tour with an array of foods from South Korea, Germany and Japan, just to mention a few. We thank our residents for participating in the flag procession and for the children who came to sing. GO TEAM U.S.A!
