Ferris Hills welcomed Violinist Geoffrey Herd, cellist Max Geissler and pianist Cameron Fuhrman to perform "Classics and Romantics".

Mr. Herd joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in August 2016. He is also a doctoral candidate at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music where he studied with Paul Kantor. Previous teachers included Ani Kavafian, William Preucil and David Updegraff.

Praised for his “superb artistry and beautiful sound,” cellist Max Geissler is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Rice University under the tutelage of Desmond Hoebig.  Mentors have included Catherine Lehr-Ramos of the Saint Louis Symphony and Michel Strauss during a semester of study abroad in Paris.

Cameron Fuhrman is a pianist, teacher, and musical academic. Born in rural Central Oregon, she began taking piano lessons at age five and teaching them at age eleven. She is currently pursuing a DMA in Piano Performance and Literature under the tutelage of Natalya Antonova at the Eastman School of Music.

Getting Ready for the 2024 Eclipse

The excitement is building!

Where's the Beef?

For the answer, look no further than Ferris Hills at West Lake in Canandaigua, NY

The 10th Annual Chef & Sip Challenge was held yesterday at the Hotel Canandaigua. It was presented by the Canandaigua Kiwanis Club.

Our Chefs, Daniel Cobb and Julie Woloson offered up Yankee Pot Roast and Mashed Potatoes garnished with puff pastry/carmalized onion & chive.  It was a feast for the senses and they came home with the prize of Most Creative!  Congratulations to these talented chefs!

Lots of familiar faces in the photos.  You will see some of our wait staff, Matt Pelton and Kaylee White, out enjoying the day along with retired Executive Director, Aimee Ward. The venue was beautiful, the competition was fierce, but there was great camaraderie among the many talented chefs.  There is so much talent in this region of the Finger Lakes and we are fortunate to have some of that talent right here at Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows.
