Celebrating Our PCAs with Sundaes and Gratitude Celebrating Our PCAs with Sundaes and Gratitude KristenMeyer / Wednesday, June 11, 2025 0 4080 Today, we had the joy of celebrating the incredible Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) who care for us with such compassion, patience, and grace. These quiet heroes show up every day with helping hands and open hearts - and today, we had the chance to return the favor in a small but sweet way. Residents turned the tables and rolled up their sleeves to scoop ice cream and add toppings for our beloved aides. With laughter, strawberries, and plenty of whipped cream, we served up sundaes as a heartfelt thank-you to those who so faithfully serve us. it was more than just a treat - it was a moment of connection, appreciation, and community.Thank you, PCAs, for the care you give and the kindness you show. Claire Watson / Wednesday, April 4, 2018 / Categories: Uncategorized, Ferris Hills Events, Clark Meadows Events, Senior Living Community Events, Ferris Hills Blog Fiddlers of the Genesee Fiddlers of the Genesee brought the tradition of "old-time fiddling" to Ferris Hills last Saturday. The club was founded in September 1991, after being inspired by the Genesee Country Village & Museum’s "Fiddlers’ Fair." Residents and guests were greatly entertained by 20 musicians playing stringed instruments including a primarily fiddle, viola, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dobro, hammered dulcimer and bass. There were instruments that some had never seen before, but hope to see again very soon.Fiddlers of the Genesee had everyone clapping hands and tapping feet. The energy in the room was amazing!
