Celebrating Our PCAs with Sundaes and Gratitude Celebrating Our PCAs with Sundaes and Gratitude KristenMeyer / Wednesday, June 11, 2025 0 3915 Today, we had the joy of celebrating the incredible Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) who care for us with such compassion, patience, and grace. Residents turned the tables and rolled up their sleeves to scoop ice cream and add toppings for our beloved aides. With laughter, strawberries, and plenty of whipped cream, we served up sundaes as a heartfelt thank-you to those who so faithfully serve us. it was more than just a treat - it was a moment of connection, appreciation, and community.Thank you, PCAs, for the care you give and the kindness you show. You make all the difference! Read more

Lynne, Julie and Claire carried flags representing the USA, China and the Olympic Games. One of our residents even carried the torch! Decorations included flags from many other countries, as well as a USA Hockey uniform! Terry and Rebecca represented China, Kristen represented the X-Country skiing event, and Lynne, the Ladies figure skating event. Our music therapist, Katherine sang two beautiful songs and we all enjoyed Olympic videos, followed by a sampling of hors d'oeuvres from various countries. A great time had by all who attended.
